1. Where can Skinboosters be injected?
DrD: Skinboosters can be used to improve the general skin quality of your face but also to improve exposed and sensitive areas such as your neck, décolletage and hands as well as areas with acne-scarred skin.

2. How is Skinboosters injected and what is the process like?
DrD: Firstly, we will apply numbing cream over full face after makeup removal and thorough cleansing, for about 20-30minutes. Our doctor will then perform this procedure using a device called ‘vital injector’, via 5 fine needles to deliver the product. The benefit of using vital injector is such that a consistent depth of injection will be maintained and bruise and post-injection redness will be reduced. The full face will be injected throughout including under-eye areas to target fine lines.

3. How many times do I have to inject?
DrD: A typical treatment program with Skinboosters is made up of three initial treatment sessions with 2 to 4 weeks apart. Usually, results will be visible 2 weeks after each procedure. The initial 3-treatment program is done once and subsequently, one treatment about every 6 -12 months is recommended.

4. How long can Skinboosters last?
DrD: Do note that every treatment outcome is also affected by an individual’s lifestyle. For example, smoking, late-night sleep, or inadequate care of facial skin can affect the longevity of Skinboosters. Usually, the effect of hydration and radiance lasts for 6-8months, however, collagen will still buildup after a few months later. Hence, the improvement of skin texture will still continue.

5. What will I expect after this procedure?
DrD: You will expect minimal downtime redness or pin-point bruises for 2-7 days, depends on how good your skin is. There will be no pain after the injection. It will not leave any permanent scars.
