FLX Face Lift
Your Personalized Skin Tightening Solutions with FLX Face Lift
FLX Face Lift is a non-invasive cosmetic treatment used for skin tightening and contouring. It is an advanced version of the original FLX Face Lift procedure, utilizing a unique radiofrequency (RF) technology known as AccuREP, which stands for Accurate Real-time Energy Performance.
This technology allows the device to deliver precise and consistent energy to the targeted areas of the skin, ensuring optimal results while minimizing discomfort.
The FLX Face Lift system is designed to target sagging or loose skin on various areas of the body, including the face, neck, abdomen, arms, and thighs. The RF energy heats the underlying layers of the skin, promoting collagen remodeling and tightening of the skin’s structure over time, which helps to stimulate collagen production in the deep layers of the skin.
3RD GENERATION HIFU by JEISYS – Non-Surgical/Non-Invasive Face Lifting
As part of ageing, our skin and tissue lose its collagen resulting in Skin Laxity (Face Sagging). How does our face generate new collagen?
What is HIFU?
Our centre is using an Advanced 3rd generation HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound) non-invasive treatment for firming, tightening and lifting the skin and deeper tissue(SMAS layer).
How does HIFU works?
Ultrasound therapy (HIFU) shoots ultrasound waves into the skin, where they act by heating targeted tissue at a dual plane, 3mm and 4.5mm depth, tightening SMAS and stimulating the body’s natural collagen production. While there is a noticeable instant tightening, once the body starts producing collagen, the skin tightens and firms significantly.
It’s a precise tightening treatment for the skin and deeper tissues (SMAS) The body’s natural healing and collagen regeneration process produces a new, healthy and tighter appearance of the face, neck and décolleté.
What conditions and areas can be treated with this machine?
General firming, tightening and lifting of the brow, eyes, face, jowl, neck and décolleté
When will I see results?
Generally, the skin will begin to look smoother and tighter after the first treatment, and the results from the treatment will continue to improve for up to six months, as the collagen continues to regenerate. The results will vary, depending on the original condition of the skin and deeper tissue, and degree and cause of damage
How is HIFU treatment carried out?
- No anaesthetic is required.
- The treatment takes between 30-60 minutes, depending on the area.
- A gel will be applied to the treatment area.
- You may experience a prickling sensation followed by a feeling of mild heat.
- Different heads are used for the various depths and skin conditions
Does HIFU device hurt?
For skin tightening and lifting no anaesthetic is required. Less pain and discomfort using a 3rd generation HIFU.
The levels of treatment can be adjusted to suit patient comfort.
Is HIFU device safe?
Yes, the treatment is safe but it must be carried out by a suitably trained and experienced health care professional to ensure that different areas are treated at the correct levels.
What are the potential downtime and side effects?
You may experience a mild warm sensation for an hour or two, thereafter, virtually no discomfort or downtime is experienced.
The skin may be red for a few hours; this usually resolves in less than 24hours. Swelling is minimal particularly under the eyes (if treated) and resolves in 1-2 days. Makeup may be applied after 24 hours.
After treatment, you can go ahead with your daily activities. If there is swelling, usually it will go away within 3-7days. Besides this, there may be slight aching discomfort which resolves within 1-2 weeks.
This technology is usually not suitable for “Sunken” face as occasionally it may melt a bit of facial subcutaneous fats. Neuropraxia (Temporary Nerve Damage) is rare.
Care following treatment.
The use of a high factor sunscreen (spf 50+) and recovery cream following the treatment is very important to protect the skin during the healing phase and for several weeks following treatment. All your aftercare needs will be discussed by the therapist at the consultation and we are on hand after the treatment to answer your questions.
